Group Events
Are you looking for a unique, fun and rewarding experience in an artistic and welcoming space to connect with your colleagues, or celebrate with friends and family?
We've got the perfect Group Event for you:

Led by a dedicated, experienced, and friendly Pottery Instructor

Choose any Clay-in-a-Day program (Wheely Fun, Perfect Mug, Personal Sushi Set, Lively Planter, Earrings)

Enjoy any refreshments you choose to bring

Create a unique piece, then leave it with us to fire and glaze and return in 2-3 weeks to pick up your masterpiece!

Please book events at least two weeks in advance to ensure we can accommodate your desired date and time.

Group events typically start between 11am and 4pm and last about two hours

Minimum group size is 5. Don't have 5 people? Reach out for other options!
Private Events
If you have a large group or prefer to host your event in dedicated space, we also offer Private Events.
The Turnagain Ceramics studio is a lively and comfortable space to host your company party, a retreat, or any other type of celebration.
We can configure our open, well lit space in lots of creative ways and are happy to work with you to bring your event dreams true!
Logistics

Private Events Run for 2-3 Hours and groups can select up to two Clay in a Day activities

Private Events can accommodate 5-50 attendees.

Depending on group size and preference, Private events take place in one, or both, sides of the studio.

Please book as far in advance as possible so we can accommodate your desired date and time!
Community Events
We are excited to engage with the Anchorage community in all sorts of ways:

Community Throw: Try throwing on the wheel with an instructor free of charge! Community throws are hosted typically on a monthly basis.

Seasonal Pottery Sales: A few times a year we host special sales and invite everyone to come check out our studio and purchase pottery made by our member artists! (You can also do this 7 days/week in our gallery)

Anchorage Downtown Market Social: Catch us on Sundays during the summer downtown where we set up to sell and chat about all things pottery!

Clay Fest: Each September, starting in 2023, we host a block party style festival centered on clay! We close down the streets in front of Turnagain Ceramics. Potters from across the state come to sell their wares. Local food trucks and vendors share their delights. Musicians play live to get everyone grooving. We offer various classes, and demonstrate various pottery techniques live!
