Clay-in-a-Day
Turnagain Ceramics is excited to offer a fun way for everyone to learn and create during a single class - no experience necessary!
Join us for 2 hour Clay in a Day class to learn about working with clay while having a Wheely Fun time or crafting a one of a kind mug, set of earrings, planter or more!
During hand building based Clay-in-a-Days, you form, shape, carve and, decorate, a unique piece of pottery.
If throwing on the wheel is more your speed, come have a Wheely Fun time with us each week and try your hand at throwing pottery on the wheel!
Friendly and experienced instructors guide you, then, 2-3 weeks later, come back and pick up your fired and glazed piece of pottery!
Come on your own or bring your friend and loved ones, with your beverage of choice.
Keep your eye out for new Clay in a Day offerings every month and complete all sorts of fun projects.
Turnagain Ceramics is also excited to host your next group event or party in wonderfully lit Anchorage Community studio. Enjoy a private or semi-private space while creating functional art.

Be mindful of Age Requirements. All minors16 and under must be accompanied by an adult who is registered and participating in the same class. The minimum age for wheel throwing is 10. The minimum age for hand building is 8.

Cancellation Policy:
At Turnagain Ceramics, we want everybody to be able to experience the joys of pottery. We aim to be as flexible as possible because we understand that things happen, and cancellations can be unavoidable at times. Also, given that we are a small business and cancellations have a large and direct impact on our operations, we do have limitations.
Please read our Cancellation Policy below prior to registering:

Cancellations can be avoided by transferring tickets to a family member or friend (simply forward them your registration confirmation email).

Cancellations or requests to change classes made 14 or more days before a class starts result in a class credit for the full amount of the class registration fee.

Cancellations or requests to change classes made less than 14 days before a class starts result in a class credit for 50% of the full amount of the class registration fee.

Cancellations or requests to change classes made after a class starts will result in no class credit.

Class credits can be used towards any future Turnagain Ceramics class within one year.

Turnagain Ceramics may cancel classes if minimum registration requirements aren't met, there is inclement weather, or other circumstances arise. In these cases impacted students will be notified as quickly as possible and offered class credit or make up opportunities.
